What Better Results Could Come From Choosing Nason Paint Primer
Filling primers have the ability to fill and can be sanded easily. They have a high build capability and you can sand out a lot of imperfections. Unlike the epoxy primers they they don't seal what's below it. You should use the same brand filler primer as your epoxy. That way if you have a problem later on the paint company might stand behind it.
I like the pcc system, uses all the same reducer for everything and the same harder. Ok, from all that i have read on this board over the past 2 1/2 years, nason seems to get the best reviews of all the second line paint brands. I have used polyester fillers over 2k primer for my car project. The paint store has recommended the everlast z grip to fill the slight imperfections, mainly low spots. The body work and shaping is already complete. I'm block sanding to get all the areas of the hood flat. When i painted it was mid to upper 70's. It was a long time ago, but when i painted my car with single stage nason, it said to use a hardener. Now that your paint is still soft a week later, clearly they were wrong. Not much you can do other than set it in the sun to see if it will harden. Nason paints are primarily industrial.
